延边大学来华留学进修（非学历）生管理规定
来华留学生在延边大学学习期间必须遵守中华人民共和国法律，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯，自觉维护各国学生间的友好关系，遵守延边大学的各项规章制度，尊敬师长，按照教学计划和安排认真学习。
Foreign students studying at YBU should abide by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, respect Chinese people’s custom, maintain good relationship with other foreign students, obey the rules and regulations of YBU, and fulfill all the academic requirements according to the teaching plan.
一、注册及开学Registration
第一条、在校学生按照学校规定的日期办理注册手续。每个学期的注册日期由留学生管理科在留学生管理网站（http://liuxue.ybu.edu.cn）上预先公布。注册时应缴纳各种费用并购买教材，逾期一周不办理者，按自动退学处理。
1. Current students at YBU should register on the designated date of registration. The date of registration will be announced on the website http://liuxue.ybu.edu.cn. All the students should conduct the procedures of paying fees and purchasing textbooks. Student late for registering for one week will be considered as dropping out of school automatically.
第二条、新生应按《录取通知书》规定的日期到延边大学留学生管理科办理注册手续,注册时应同时办理签证申请手续，报到时发放注册日程表。
2. New students should register at Foreign Students Office of YBU during the designated registration period given in Admission Notice. Apply for student visa at registration also.Orientation Schedule is offered on the day of registration.
第三条、每学期开学前，举行开学典礼；每学期期末，举行结业典礼，向成绩合格者颁发结业证书。
3. Opening ceremony is held at the beginning of semester, and graduation ceremony at the end of semester. Certificate of Completion will be awarded to the students who pass all the exams.
二、报名费及学费 Application Fee and Tuition Fees
第一条、报名费应在提交申请材料时或到校注册时缴纳，缴纳的报名费不予退还。
1. Pay application fee with the application package together or at registration after arrival. Application fee is non-refundable.
第二条、报到注册时应一次性缴清学费，学费按照“延边大学来华留学生费用（学费、住宿费）缴纳规定”缴纳。
2. Pay full tuition fees at registration. The tuition is paid according to the Regulations on Tuition Fees Payments for Foreign Students of YBU.
三、学习管理 Academic Administration
第一条、新生入学后，经笔试或面试分班。留学生学习期间应认真完成教学计划规定的学习任务和考核内容。
1. Students will be divided into different classes according to results of placement tests. Foreign students should complete all the assignments and exam content according to teaching plan during study at YBU.
第二条、开学一周内可以申请调班，调班须由班主任和相关学院留学生教学负责人共同协商决定。
2. Application for changing classes can only be accepted in the first week of semester at the approvals of both the class teacher and the relevant college together.
第三条、请病假或事假三天以内者，可由任课教师批准；请病假或事假三天以上者，须持医生证明或其他相关材料到留学生管理科办理请假手续；未请假或请假未获准而不上课者，按旷课处理。各学院在每月5日之前将上一个月的出勤表报到留学生管理科，每月各门课程均缺课1/3以上者，留学生管理科将给予警告及以上处分；每学期受到2次以上警告处分者或出勤率低于1/3者，给予勒令退学处分，并报上级公安部门注销其居留许可。
3. Class teachers can approve the excused absences of illness or personal reasons for less than 3 days. Absences due to illness or personal reasons for more than 3 days (including 3 days) will only be considered as valid at the approval of the Foreign Students Office. Students applying for illness absence must obtain a doctor’s note to justify that illness was the cause of their absence. Absences that have not been approved by the Foreign Students Office, though caused by illness, will be recorded as truancy in their attendance record.
Each college should submit attendance reports of foreign students to the Foreign Students Office before the 5th of every month. Students with attendance rate of each course per month less than 1/3will be given a warning. Students with 2 warnings or with attendance rate of less than 1/3 for one semester will be expelled from school and their residence permit will be cancelled
四、教材 Textbooks
第一条、每学期报到时，学生可根据分班情况，到汉语言文化学院自费购买相应教材。联系电话：0433-2436698
1. Students can buy textbooks by themselves at the College of Chinese Language and Culture at the beginning of each semester. Tel: 0433-2436698
第二条、在开学两周内，因调班原因可以退换无涂写或损坏的教材。
2. The textbooks are refundable due to a class change in two weeks without any writing or damage.
五、考核 Examinations
第一条、考核以一个学期为单位。每学期的考核分为出勤考查、平时成绩、期中考试和期末考试。考核满分为100 分，其中出勤考查占 20% ，平时成绩占 20% ，期中成绩占 20% ，期末成绩占 40% 。
1. Grade of one course consists of 4 parts including attendance, performance at class, mid-term and final examination. Hundred-mark systemis adopted for evaluation with 20% for attendance, 20% for performance at class, 20% for mid-term examination and 40% for final examination.
第二条、平时成绩以学生上课认真程度及作业完成等综合表现情况为依据。
2. Student performance at class is based on attitude, completion of assignments and so on.
第三条、期末考试和结业典礼在每学期第17周进行。
3.Final examination and graduation ceremony will be held in the 17th week of each semester.
第四条、所学课程的缺课时数超过该门课程学期总学时三分之一以上或旷课3次者（每学期累计事假、迟到、早退3次，按旷课1次处理），不能参加该门课程的期末考试,成绩计为零分。
4.Students who have been absent for a third or more of the total number of a course’s classes or have the records of 3 truancies are not eligible to sit for the final exam for the particular course. 3 times of excused absences, late arrival or early leave will be regarded as 1 time of truancy. The grade for the particular course will be zero.
六、结业 Completion of Program
第一条、每学期期末，学校对汉语进修班成绩合格的学生颁发结业证书。结业证书分为汉语初级班结业证书、汉语提高班结业证书、汉语中级班结业证书、汉语高级班结业证书。
1. Students fulfilling the program’s academic requirements and pass all the exams will receive certificate of completion at the end of semester. Certificate of Completion is for Elementary Level, Upper- Elementary Level, Intermediate level and Advanced level, respectively.
第二条、每学期期末考试结束后，汉语言文化学院将符合结业资格的学生名单和不合格学生名单以及成绩单报至留学生管理科。留学生管理科为成绩合格学生制作结业证书，并在结业典礼时为学生颁发结业证书。
2. College of Chinese Language and Culture should submit the lists of students who are qualified for graduation and transcripts to Foreign Students Office. Foreign Students Office issues Certificate of Completion to qualified students and awards it at the graduation ceremony.
第三条、成绩不合格或因个人原因未能参加期末考试者，可申请领取学习证明。
3. Student who failed in the final exam or didn’t participate in the final exam due to person reasons may apply for the Certificate of Study.
七、选修课及学生活动 Elective Courses and Students Activities
第一条、留学生管理科每学期根据学生的实际情况，为学生开设若干免费或自费选修课。
第二条、留学生管理科每学期有计划地为外国留学生组织课外文化活动，具体安排另行通知。
2. Foreign Students Office organizes various activities every semester for foreign students. Please pay attention to the notices announced at the website.
八、汉语水平考试（HSK）Chinese Proficiency Test(HSK)
第一条、延边大学考试中心负责组织留学生参加“汉语水平考试（HSK）”的报名及考试。
1. The examination center of YBU is responsible for the organization and application of HSK.

第二条、考试时务必携带护照,如在此期间需办理签证或居留许可手续，请提前办理。
2. Participate in the exam with passport. Please apply for visa or residence permit extension in advance if needed before exam.
第一条、留学生管理科设立“优秀奖”和“满勤奖”。每学期评选一次，颁发证书和奖金。“优秀奖”和“满勤奖”的获奖条件为：（1）遵守各项校规校纪；（2）成绩优秀或一学期内考勤无缺课（包括病假、事假、旷课）纪录；（3）各门课程成绩均在良好以上。
1. Outstanding Foreign Students Award and Full Attendance Award will be given once a semester to the students meeting the following requirements: (1) Abide by the rules and regulations of YBU; (2) With great academic performance or without record of absences due to illness, personal reasons and truancy; (3) Obtain good grades for all the courses.
第二条、在语言班学习期间，报名参加旧HSK考试取得九级以上（含九级）证书或新HSK考试取得六级180分以上的学生，结业时奖励人民币500元。
2. Students obtained Certificate of HSK 9(old version) or above or New HSK 6 with total score of 180 will be awarded 500rmb.
第三条、对于违反学校及留学生管理科各项规章制度的学生，留学生管理科将根据延边大学来华留学生违纪处分实施细则，给予不同程度的处罚。严重违反规章制度的学生，留学生管理科将勒令其退学。触犯法律法规的学生将移送司法机关处理。
3. Students who have disobeyed the university’s rules or regulations will be punished depending on the severity of their offenses in accordance with the administration regulations for foreign students of YBU. Serious violation will lead to be expelled from school. Students committing a crime/an illegal act, the Chinese Public Security Administration will take charge in handling the case according to the Chinese Law.
